Why some people are able to do more good deeds than others

INTRODUCTION

WHY ARE GOOD DEEDS IMPORTANT?

1. So whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord.” 18: 110

SURAH AL QARI’AH (101)

6. Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy,

7. He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise).

8. But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light,

9. He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell).

10. And what will make you know what it is?

5. Able to distance from the lure of the dunya

7. Able to prioritise his or her life
8. Understands that death is impending 
9. Love the Deen
10. Able to seek refuge from shaytan
11. Good companions
12. Patient
13. Du’a – the right type of du’a
